First Step- Getting to Base Camp

Everest Base Camp Trek



Below are details of our itinerary from Kathmandu to Everest Base Camp- the base camp will be our home for several weeks. The first obstacle is getting to the base camp, standing at 17,600 feet!! We will take a total of 9 days to get to base camp after landing in Kathmandu.

Day 3-4: We start our journey from Kathmandu with a helicopter ride to Namche Bazaar (3,444m, 11,300’). We will stay in Namche Bazaar for 2 nights

Day 5: 3,757m, 12,325’
Ascend Namche Bazaar (3,444m, 11,300’) to Deboche (3,757m, 12,325’)
