Training
When setting out on a journey, do not seek advice from those who have never left home! -Rumi
Training for Everest is much different today. We have seen many successful summits in the past and we do our best to draw from their wisdom, their trials and errors, their success. Most of our group have used training methods in the 'New Alpinism' (see below). Our training has included many hours in the mountains on steep terrain, including the picture above, David Snow on the Pfeifferhorn- a true mountaineering winter ascent- using crampons and ice picks. . . and that's just a quick glimpse into the training . . .
